Can't speak to No. 1 since I've never coached/applied for a D1 spot yet, but totally agree with the sentiment of No. 2...the new recruit generation completely gonzo'd the speed of too large a portion of the PF and C pool. Trying to find a recruit that's even a 40/30 ATH/SPD breakdown now is like finding a needle in a haystack and then actually finding one that doesn't have anemic Reb/LP usually thins the pool even more. It just swung too far for those positions IMO.
