I don't know if there has already been a thread about this, but I was curious. What is the most money you've seen a player get paid throughout his career? To get the ball rolling, this is a guy in a former world of mine: Danny Cummings. Just north of $266 million in career salary and bonuses.

Wow. Worth every penny too.

Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Ariel Moraga in Happy Jack is at about 250M through his season 22 contract, at which he will be 37. With his already insane ratings and 99 makeup, I think he'll get another 50M to put him over 300M for his career.

Am I reading that right?  He's going to be 42 in the last year of his deal?  Wow!  I don't think I've ever seen a 38 y/o get close to a max deal, but with his makeup (and 20MM in training), he'll probably still be worth it.  Depends on how quickly he declines in the next couple years.

Wow, that dude has won 11 Cy Young awards in 12 years.  273-65 record.  I'd take him when he's 49.
