Does anyone know how long it takes for a player to show up on waivers if you drop him?  I'm a little confused how the waiver wire works.  I understand it is the same waiver wire for all leagues.  So if I'm in 2 leagues and I drop a player from one team, could I potentially pick that same player up with my other team?  I've dropped players before and it seems they don't always go to the waiver wire.  Is there some sort of intermediary location they reside in for a while? 

They go to purgatory for 30 minutes or so if I recall correctly.
