i know this thread has been up before but i couldn't find it.

i had a RS put on a kid, he wasn't happy - dropped from a 74 to a 66 WE

i believe most people say to just leave it like that since it's not a big WE drop and it could get worse?

does the WE continue to drop during the reg season?

From my experience, once it drops initially, that's where it stays for the whole redshirted season.

yeah, you're good to go.

whatever you do if you good with the 66, don't take it off and try to reapply it. It will get a lot worse if he says no a second time. Also, that 66 is permanent. It may raise like normal, but that's the new base.

I failed to realize this and tried redshirting a guy a second time. The first time his WE went down by 15, and the second time it went down by 30. If I continue to reapply the RS, will there be some point that his WE starts to go down by less? Or do I just need to give up and move on? 

try again every cycle. He will take the RS w/o WE loss.

It worked with a different guy! So maybe the first guy would've taken it after the 3rd or 4th time without a WE drop?

Thanks for the help...glad I got someone to take the RS.
