Even with all my HBD experience, one thing I have never mastered is reading defensive ratings, who to play where.  I have the following 3 players on a team, all with d-ratings that are pretty close  and don't know where to play them.  They pretty much need to play SS, 3B, and RF.  Although I usually like to have a real strong defensive SS, thats just not going to happen here.

So who plays where?  Is it a matter of opinion and taste or am I missing something and there is a definate answer?.

The 3 are:

Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Kevin Hyun

Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Benjamin Reed

Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Quinton Knight

So which one plays SS, 3B and RF?  Any opinions?

Yup, pretty easy. 3B, SS, RF in that order.

Agreed.  Best range at SS.  Between the other two, best arm at 3B.

+1

Reed is going to be subpar defensively but above average (though not great) as a hitter. I would still consider trading for a capable defender at SS, especially if your lineup can handle an offensive stiff.
