gotta love living in San Diego - all am games are run by 11:45pm.
i would be screwed by being too lazy to do it at night, and then sleeping past 11am =)

i have some family near san diego, in la jolla (at least thats where they were when i visited last, they may have moved since, i can't remember). its a beautiful area, but man, it sure can get grey on you! and i hear it can stay that way for... well... a month at a time, lol. but it doesn't make those beautiful california girls any less beautiful :)

I'm lucky.  I live in S. Korea and the games are played around 4:30 pm LT.

I visited Japan last year and it felt weird to have the games in the afternoon.  I kept my laptop on EST so I would know what time it "really" was.

I've lived in Denver for nearly two years now, and my computer is still set to EST so I always know what time it is in the "real" world.

With the Ipad, I sometimes walk about halfway to the office, before I remember I can view it from bed now.

The past 2 seasons when I was losing most of my games, it was almost a feeling of dread to get up and think to check my scores.  But this season I'm doing better (thanks in part to a soft schedule), and I'm even 4-1 in conference so far, so it's been more exciting for me. ( All that is likely to change once I face a couple of the ranked teams in my division, but I'm enjoying the sunshine until then.)

I have to agree with the idea that we check things a lot more often during recruiting.  In the recruiting cycle just ended on Naismith, I was engaged in a tug-of-war with an A prestige school for a D3 recruit who will finally make my front line credible.  I'm not sure the other guy was that enthusiastic about him because the last-minute money-rush I expected never came and I ended up signing the guy.  It made the recruiting process pretty tense and actually fun.

Being retired is the only way to go. :)  I can't sleep too late, but if I'm up monitoring my teams I can at least take a nap the next day.

WOW, thank you guys, I really thought I had a problem but reading all of these posts I feel normal!!  I used to be a sim baseball junkie but this is so much more fun!! I only have a couple seasons under my belt but after taking a team the the Elite 8 last season I have joined 2 more worlds, I just found out there are worlds that sim 2 games a day...as good as sex??? only time will tell lol JK!!! I live for recruiting, I learn so much more each season it is crazy!! It's funny to look back at my first recruiting class, WTH was I thinking lol, and to all you veterans that post helpful hints TY so much it has helped me a ton!!!

I know dahs I still LOVE sim baseball live, but with the the lack of leagues filling this is like cake to a fat kid, people would laugh at my sleeping schedule during recruiting...I literally set alarms!!! My problem is waiting, I read all the "vets" saying they don't even start till after the signing starts I tried it with this last team and it killed me to watch players go off the board that were on my watch list!! I kind of gave up on SLB because all I have left to conquer is the TOC and I am a firm believer that it is all luck because every team there is great.  My sights are set on a National Championship in DIII now...oh and making one of Al top DIII dynasty lists!! lol

I frequently leave my study hall when I'm all done with work and go check the sims in the school's library.

I had to bump this. So I'm about to go out to the bar, and will for sure be awake at 2:30am for the first time in a couple weeks..and of course both of my teams have off days. Ha
