He's in a pretty good decline.  Power has dropped five points in each of the last two offseasons.  Look for at least another five this time around.  All other ratings have shown some signs of decline.  His OPS thepast two seasons have averaged out to less than .800.  I'd expect less than that next season.  For a corner outfielder, you should want a higher OPS than that.

I doubt he'd be a type B next season.

I wouldn't resign him before rollover, if that's what you're asking.  I'd wait to see what he looks like after the roll.  I'd also expect his demands to drop after the roll to something less than 2 x $4.8m.

I'd shake his hand and say thanks for the memories.

He's due for a 60-Day visit to the Doc.  Drop him.....gently, or he'll break.

And...you'll probably be able to get him for a lot cheaper than that if you relly want him...maybe for just one season.
