I know and don't dispute that walkons should be worse than regular recruits and should not be somethingyou want to take on. . but isn't this a bit extreme?

Shouldn't anyone who gets on a college team at least have one skill somewhere that he's remotely competent enough at to actually not have the coach of a college intramural team laugh in his face?

I agree and i think that sometime you should be able to get a walk on thats good (like in real life) and you can keep him. But you shouldnt be able to get a good walk on player every time, but sometimes the walk on should be good.
