The davkar progressive league, a 24 team single season progressive, needs 1 owner for 1988.  The open team is the St. Louis Cardinals.

Started in the 1969 season this long running progressive has a great group of owners.

Advances 1 season at a time with a 1st round draft order using a formula that considers ratio of wins to salary, rewarding a team to win.  Playoff teams draft 17-24 in the 1st round.  Rest of the draft is worst to first.

DH in the AL only.

If anybody takes this team, once you join your first season I will send you a GC for $12.95 to use for your 2nd season.

The 1988 draft will start in roughly a week.  The Cards own all of their picks, and have the following:

16th overall pick in the 1988 draft
1st pick in rounds 2-5 of the 1988 draft

This is a good league about to enter its 20th season.  I particularly enjoy the formula for determining the draft order.  It definitely favors the low salary teams (for getting high draft picks) but doesn't penalize your team for winning.  It makes each season interesting with an incentive to win whether you are a contender or not.
