The SLLP is heading towards its 15th season soon (2004), and we are looking for a good owner to take over a team. The team is listed below, and we almost have all our keepers in with the draft about to start.
 
We have our own private forum, so I will also list the league rules below.

6/4 Below average AAA
NO DH
40 GAME LIVE MINIMUM (incentive to reach 60...if you make 60, you can pass up to 3 teams above you that have not reached the minimum. If there is a team with the 40 game minimum above you, you can't climb higher. A team cannot drop more than 3 spots in the draft order).
DRAFT ORDER: Will be a standard style draft, with the initial order based on the winning percentage from worst to first. IF THERE IS A TIE, the team with more live games will be ranked higher. IF still a tie, I'll do a random drawing at random.org In order to avoid tanking a season, the worst 3 teams will be drawn randomly for the top 3 picks...but the rest of the draft will be accordingly to the worst to first order.
KEEPERS: You will be allowed to keep 14 players as keepers for the following season. Also, 1 player may be added to your DL for the season. This would be a player who is NOT in the database for the following season, but you would like to hold onto for one season. He WOULD count towards your 14 the following season.
WIN MINIMUMS: You MUST have 40 wins at end of season to be eligible for the top picks. If you have less than 40 wins, you will drop to the #4 pick.
TRADES: Trading of draft picks allowed. Trades of players are allowed during the season.
TEAM NAMES: Must be related to your stadium. City of stadium will be reflected in your city name. So, team name must follow the pattern Philadelphia __________.

This team will be drafting around 6th in the 2004 draft.  Since teams only keep 14 players, it makes it easier to reboot teams.

Looks like Baltimore is open again...now that the draft is over and 20 teams are entered into the league.  I already have 2 teams here, so not taking 3 anymore.  I'll post the roster later tonight when I have time, but if interested and want to take a look at who is on the team now (drafted players plus the 14 keepers), fire me off a sitemail or post here.

...please...almost all teams are in.  I am tired of owners dropping at the last second and I have to end up picking up extra teams.  Someone must want to jump in a league that is about to be filled...

Thanks again bester...looks like the guy who left, joined a different league the day our draft ended....doesn't enter his team in our progressive but stays in a non-progressive league that started today.   Throws out the cancer card to me so that I don't have a choice to speak about it.  If that is true, my heart goes out to the family.  ...but it seems ridiculous that one excuse for a progressive is ignored for the other league.

You would think he could have entered his team the day the draft ended!  Wow...what a concept.  Instead, no...let's enter a different league the day the draft ends and then when the commish is chasing down owners play the I don't have $$ card.  By the way, thanks soxfan65 for trading Aubrey Huff (2004) for Akinori Otsuka (2004)
