Does anyone know what these are based on?

My team is ranked (pre-season) far higher than I'd have expected (I wasn't really expecting to be ranked at all). We had a relatively poor season last year (dropping in prestige) and, while we graduated only one senior, he was a big piece (all-time leading scorer in school history). We also have only 2 seniors this season and a ton of lowerclassmen (sophs).

Thoughts?

WIS has never given specifics but I think it's based on team history (I've been ranked following a good season when I didn't deserve it) and partly on returning players.   If you returned 11 players, that's a + for your ranking
