I was under the impression that if you were a D1 school, even at low prestige, you should be able to recruit players normally, particularly if they had no stars?

Is that wrong?  I have a guy that is ranked in the 50's at his position that won't take any Home Visits even though I've given him over 10 SV's since the first time he rejected my HV's.  That just doesn't seem right, and I know I didn't run into this last season.

Is this something to do with the new update?  I thought the goal was to make more good players available to more mid/low prestige D1 teams, not make it harder for them to sign decent players.

What am I missing?

bow, that's been the case for a long time -- if you have a low prestige DI team, there will be players that you have to pull down, that won't be open to your recruiting efforts right away. The star thing used to be a little more meaningful in that, but now there are a lot fewer starred players, so that doesn't mean much.
