I've got two very tight positional battles on Rochester.  Have a good idea what I want to do for the postseason, but just looking to see what some other coaches think.  The first 2 guys are my top 2 SGs, the second 2 are my top 2 SFs.  McCook has A+ IQs, Judge has A-, and Holt and Grubb both have As.

Kevin Judge Jr. SG 36 77 33 44 4 12 86 63 79 79 91 42 C+ 646
Randall Holt Jr. SF 54 50 58 71 47 75 48 48 32 66 72 46 B 667

would totally depend on matchups, especially if this is for the post season...

ETA: For SF, as I take a longer look - I can't see a reason I'd NOT start Holt no matter the match-up. At SG its cloudier.

I'd lean toward Judge despite McCook's IQ advantage in the SG battle.

In the SF pairing, I'd lean toward Holt...I don't think the 25-pt. advantage he has is defense is overridden by an 8 pt. Ath and 3 pt. Spd shortfall.

Holt's 33 pt LP advantage is kinda nice too...

If I make it past the first round, how about you start none of the above.

Yeah, keep dreaming...

I wouldn't worry too much if you win that first game.  I've never been to the Sweet 16, and this isn't the best team I've had.  Highest-ranked, but not the best.

You've never made it to the sweet 16? That surprises me. Even I've made a Final 4 and Elite 8 run and I'm not as good of a coach as you, haha.

Clearly you are.

Well, you made it.  Good luck, then.

Good luck to you, too. You probably won't need it, though.

Good game.  Our worst shooting performance of the season.  Still never seen the Sweet 16.  I think maybe it's coded into the system somewhere that I'm not allowed to...

i know my input is a little late on this, but if I were you, I'd have started Judge over McCook all year (despite the IQ disadvantage).  having a guard that rebounds that well, especially playing zone, is a huge plus.

as for the SF, I'd have started Holt most games.  however, Grubb might have been worth a spot start or two against a zone.

GG to you too dahs. Am surprised how that game played out. You must be right. Something coded into the programming that won't let you make it. What did you do to upset seble so bad?
