As we start preparing for our 23rd season, it looks like the Monty Python Progressive is going to be looking for a new owner to take over the Chicago Knights (Comiskey Park) franchise.
Pretty standard progressive: no cap or roster restrictions, draft order set as of game 120 standings (min 35 wins by G120 or draft position will drop); we have a AAA draft following the regular draft (and do not permit use of the autogenerated AAA guys)
We are nearing game 100 of the 1990 season and the 1991 draft is probably about a month or so from getting under way.
If you want a shot at a great league.... let me know!
Here are the potential Chicago Keepers:
C Tony Pena, Bob Geren
1B Dan Pasqua, Mike Aldrete
2B Lenny Harris
3B Kelly Gruber
SS Jay Bell, Kurt Stillwell, Jeff Huson
OF George Bell, Vince Coleman, Bobby Bonilla, Jesse Barfield
SP Mark Langston, Chris Bosio, Chris Nabholz, Bob Milacki, Danny Jackson, Ed Whitson
RP Roger Mason, Jim Acker, Juan Agosto, Scott Terry, Pete Smith, Mike Jeffcoat
Keep 'em all or drop whomever you wish! At this point, it appears that the Knights would be drafting around the middle... currently sitting at 12th pick, but the draft slots won't be determined for about another week. (Team has traded away 2nd round pick in '91)
It's a great league, with many longtime owners.
Sitemail if you have any questions!
Edited April 10:
