Boston in the North? Topic

I see the 2008 list has Boston only East-eligible, yet in at least one world (American Pastime), there is a Boston in the AL North. It doesn't appear on the list when I try to enter a team, but I don't know if it's a glitch or what.

this was a on time deal on admins part we had an owner who wanted to keep his team but move to boston back in like season 2 or 3, and admin made the switch after some back and forth

Admin allowed a franchise to switch divisions?  Is that what I'm reading here?

I'm reading it as a guy who was in the North with another city with was allowed to switch his city to Boston despite it not being typically North eligible.

OK, that makes more sense.

I'm just surprised that ADMIN allowed it.  Kind of opens the door to allow more cities available in different divisions.

What was the owner's reasoning for wanting to move to Boston even though it was ineligible?  Why didn't he just pick some other city like everyone else does?  I understand the gripe that Boston should be a North city anyway, but as tec said, pretty surprised admin made the exception.
