Well...here I come once again to the Progressive League Classifieds with hat in hand...

The WADY (We Ain't Dead Yet) league has 1 team available and will be drafting soon for the 2000 season.  This Boston team (plays in Fenway Park) will be picking 3rd in the upcoming draft.

Team is admittedly a building project but not without parts to build on...Pitchers Chris Carpenter, John Smoltz, and Russ Oritz provide a nucleus from which to grow

This is a long standing 24 team progressive league that started with the 1969 season - this will be the league's 32nd season!

League rules include a requirement of 30 wins by Game 120 to qualify for for one of the first four picks in a worst to first draft

Teams are required to maintain a staff of 1200 IPs throughout the season

There is a supplemental 4 round draft of the undrafted pitchers from the regular draft to supplement pitching staffs

No limit on keepers (up to 25)

Players without a current season, but with a future season, may be placed on the IR...no limit on number of players who may be on the IR

No WW

No computer generated AAA players may be used

If you have any questions about the league, please sitemail me

If you would like to claim the team, just post your claim and/or sitemail me

Thanks for looking.....
