I actually got 2 of them last recruiting period at Rochester.  I always call the unranked D1 guys within 70 miles if they look good.  In the past they've always said no on the rare occasion they bother to respond to me.  This time I finally got the prestige up to A+ and a few of them sent back the standard backup message.  It was a good thing, too, 'cause the NY D2 pool was particularly substandard.
