I wish sims recruited better to be honest. And it's not hard at all to move up in D1, it's just about their being openings in BCS conference. I don't really see any of your points on this topic car_crazy.

I'm among the junior coaches here in terms of experience, but I haven't had an issue with sim recruiting yet.  The one time I went head-to-head with one, it wasn't hard to bump them off.

My current issue seems to be more along the lines of the goalposts moving since the 2-3 update.  The old "highest 4-year recruit plus 10" to determine my max pulldown rating doesn't work any more.  It seems, based on the past 2 recruiting cycles with both of my teams (D2 and D3) that it's more like "highest 4-year recruit minus 10 or 20".  I've wasted a lot of recruiting money chasing guys I wasn't going to pull down no matter what I did, even after getting the standard backup message.

i dont know what you are talking about girt. sims are WAY too good of recruiters. when you battle up a division, if you pick randomly among semi local recruits, you are only going to win like 2/3rds of the time. and if you pick intelligently, you are only going to win say, 98% of the time. that is total crap. if you are a d3 human, with c- prestige, you should be able to easily beat out a d1 sim with a+ prestige. anyone who thinks differently is totally out of touch with reality!

really... if a ****** human d3 school coach came up to you and said, you will be a legend! and a d1 elite sim coach came up to you and said, beep beep beep, beepity beepity beep... who would you sign with? its no more complicated than that. we have to make the game realistic girt... you commie bastard!

You've got it backwards.  The Sim has far more developed social skills than most of the humans that play this game.
