Hey guys,

all of my other potential recruits told me to gfy, so I'm left with this dilemma.  D1 'spect considering a D prestige D1 school that is 700 miles away...I'm an A- D2 only 10 miles from the 'cruit...do I have a chance/should I go after him...I did get the backup option email?

How many open scholarships does the DI Sim team have?  If he has 3 or more you may be in for a tough task.  I would wait until the first word on the street comes out and see what it says the status is.  If the Sim is "really tight" you probably wont be able to pull him away.  But depending on the amount of money you have you can give it a shot.  I have seen it done before.  (many times actually)  

Then his distance doesn't matter.  If FSS says he's a low priority you might be able to do it, if he's tight you're probably not gonna have a shot.

Correct me if I am wrong dahsdebater but Simmy always recruits players at 320 miles distance or less.  The player may be 700 miles away but they are only paying for the recruiting services at 320 some odd miles correct?  Thus the background for your answer above.

Wait for FSS.  I would tend to doubt you can get him in any case with only 1 scholarship worth of cash, but to even think about you would want to know for sure that the guy is a low priority...

Unless you have a good deal of carryover cash or conference tourney money I think you'll have a hard time knocking off a D I with just 1 scholie's worth of $$

no matter what you have to buy the state to see if you can pull it off or not.
