My IBA D2 team has a B+ prestige.  After 1 recruiting cycle, a conference mate with a B prestige has 4 recruits considering him that all show up on my D1 search.  I was under the impression that which recruits you saw, and which search list they are on, are sorted by prestige, with the higher getting better access.

Am I wrong in this?  Is there a way that they are on his D2 list even with me having the higher prestige?  Is there a way to get a D1 recruit to consider you after 1 cycle if you are a D2 team that I don't know about?  Can you do a pulldown the first cycle, just taking the chance they aren't going to reject you outright? 

Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, you can do a pulldown on the first cycle but it's pretty risky

Well, if anybody could figure out how to do that effectively it would definitely be the person that's played 362 seasons. That is a crafty veteran par excellence.
