After not giving a recruit enough minutes I'd promised him to start the season, he gave me the first "I'm ******" email (Not the second). I gave him a few starts and some minutes, and got the "now I'm happy" email. If I go back to just a few minutes a game again, will he be ok, or get ****** again? Personally, I've never seen a recruit get ****** again after this email. Has anyone seen a player  get mad twice in a season?

he might get ****** depending on how much you back off. You should still get a chance to "make good' again if so.

On a related note, do promises apply to the CT and the post season or only to the regluar season?  I would like to give some starts to other players, now that I am in the CT, provided it doesn't endanger the player relationship.

I think promises are only applied to the regular season. I've never had a player complain about playing time or starts after the ct starts.

Players only complain and lose work ethic over promises at specific checkpoints at discrete times during the season.  None of those occur following the end of regular season play.  So essentially you can ignore promises during the postseason and focus on winning.
