i picked #12 because i wanted first pick in at least one round....when i made my draft slot pick #12 was a first overall pick...i would have picked #13 if i knew we were gonna change it...with the way the first come first serve policy is with this league i shoulda had that advantage there...i can deal with getting shafted in the 6th(which i am..6th round was huge because at 12, since im gonna miss out on all the top higher minute guys, id rather pick a more talented lower minute guy...and now ill be pairing them with bench guys i pick with the 24th pick in the 6th round instead of the 1st) but missing out on the first pg pick is pretty shittty...especially after cp3 just got blacklisted

dont care if thats how it has to stay, gotta get the draft rolling...amerk might pass on the guy i want anyway and ill be bitchin for nothing

I'm good with the order as is. But wouldnt this make more sense?

24 teams, 6 rounds. Easy round numbers to make sure each owner gets a top 4 pick in one round.

dh555, i'm still open to adjusting how we do the middle slots since i've never seen it done this way, and i'm only interested in doing it the most fair way possible. however, i'm not sure i follow sly's slot ordering. those are for the 6 rounds? if i had number 13, i'd easily trade you spots. 

if sly could post his suggestion in the commentary forum and lay out the ordering, we, as a league, could banter about it. it's still early enough to make changes. if his way is better, i have no problem making the change. thanks.

I don't totally disagree with dh555. But we have 24 owners and only 6 rounds to draft so there is no way that each of us will get a chance to draft first in any given round. The middle picks are much better than the late picks in any round period aren't they. Sly please lay out your plan all the way as it looks promising. Thanks.

Vance- see commentary thread. The pattern I laid out would be assigned randomly to the draft rounds.

I sent scud a site mail confirming I'll take a 2nd team unless someone else says they want to get in the league before the 16th pick rolls around. Might as well get my *** handed to me twice as much!
