Draft Prospect Signability Topic

Does anyone have any idea of how often a prospect actually will sign when their signability says, "Probably won't sign. He's got his heart set on going to college."? The player is a stud and I am just wondering if it is really worth it to even try to draft and sign this guy. Thanks!

Had a probably won't sign after four cycles for $6M. It sucked because I took him on purpose to try to get the type D.

Is he the next Todd Curtis?

The player rarely signs.  If you really want him, you can offer his demands, wait for him to fully reject your offer, and then offer again; with each offer there's a small chance he will accept.  But I've only heard of about 3-4 of these guys signing.

I wish genghi but noone is the next Todd Curtis. He is actually a pitcher. I really would like him but I think it would really hurt if I drafted him and he didn't sign.

i have only played two seasons but i had two of this situations sign.  they rejected my initial offer (their demand) but then after 4 to 6 cycles - decided to sign but at a increased offer.  (both times)

I've never had one sign, but obviously it happens.  I'm probably 0-5 in nearly 30 seasons.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that they sign 15%-20% of the time.

It's some percentage of the time.  I've only gotten one of those guys in the first round once.  He rejected the intial offer and consequently rejected his higher demand probably 25 times until he signed with about a day to go in the season.  I just kept submitting it.  It can happen.
