How do you make a player drive? Topic

I've asked this before, just hoping someone has come up with a way to make a player drive to the hole consistently? Also, what do you consider the most important attributes that make a player able to drive successfully? I would think it's speed, athleticism and ball handling. Do most agree or is there something I'm missing? Thanks in advance for any input/help!

A player with higher LP will drive to the basket more than a player with higher PER.  Also, setting to -1 or -2 will increase the likelyhood that they'll drive to the basket.

minus settings encourage it - helps if he has high LP

you really can't do it unless its a lp guard. if you have high per, and you put him on -2, he will just take mid to mid-long (but not 3) range jumpers, which are the worst shot on the court (IMO).

This guy is a SF but this season he is playing the 2 spot - set on minus 2 - taking it inside - I think his LP and ATH are keys for that.  He's scoring well and drawing a lot of fouls.

Yea, mid range are the least efficient shot because you can get the same amount of point for shooting 15 feet closer or an extra point for shooting a few feet further.

BH and SPD may help, too. I THINK IQ does, but not sure of that.

Actually mid range shots are great because they are high percentage shots.. Shots just inside the 3 points line are terrible.

This is a guard i have, HIS LP = 1 So i dont think LP necessarly has to be great, as he gets to the basket every game  (10 fts per game)
