Redshirt; When do you know the repurcussions? Topic

Recruited a project Center, and he is the fourth center on my D1 Phelan Austin Peay team.  He did not do well at all in the exhibitions, and I decided to Redshirt.  Will he complain right away if he did not like the action?  His ratings stayed the same and I received no plaer communication email.....am I in the clear with him?
