Its my first season in division 1. I am finding to get someone to consider me is different in division 1 compared to division 2 and 3.

I am at Pacific in California and I was trying to get a player to consider me, I never got him to consider me and the player is now considering West Virginia. I have 17 scouting trips in the player and everything else has been rejected.

I have another player that I am 10 scouting trips into and he is not considering anyone.

Should I quit trying for the player who is considered by West Virginia. In my opinion he is the #1 guy I want.

Do I keep going with scouting trips until they consider me? I never expected players to ignore all home visits from me.
I haven't play D1 yet but did you call the recruit first? If so, what did he say? Also, whats West Virginia's prestige.

My school prestige is a D, loyalty A-, Reputation A+.

I guess I took my GD experience and assumed all division 1 players in HD would consider a Division 1 team, so I did not bother reading the phone calls.

The guy I liked apparently did not return my call and I saw this message on another player.

You've reached the cell phone of Arthur Vale. If this is anyone not from Pacific, feel free to leave a message, otherwise don't bother. Peace.

I threw away 10k but at least I think I have enough to easily sign 3 players.

You cannot recruit either of those 2 players.

at low D I prestige you can/have to still pull down the higher rated players just like pulldowns from a higher division. Have to look for the backup message, etc...expensive lesson :(
