Fatigue and the playoffs Topic

Do your players and pitchers get any extra juice when playoffs begin ?  Or does it just continue on.  If you are close to being over IP .. real life vs your league.  Will your pitcher remain to be weak.  And fatigue quicker ?

It depends on the potential length of the series. If it is a best of 7 then use (7/162)*PA/162. You can also carry over some unused PA from the regular season, however that is limited to 5% of the players original PA/162. If you have a player w/ 650PA you can save up to 33 for the 1st round of the playoffs plus (7/162)*650 = 28 for a total of 61. It works the same way for pitchers except it is based on total pitches allocated by the SIM for the season. There is a post somewhere that explains how fatigue works, I would do a seach in the forums for fatigue. It also explains how to calculate the number of pitches the SIM assigns to each pitcher.

Great stuff Zub, but I just do it the old fashion way...look at the fatigue indicator. lol

So zubinsum, are you saying PA in the playoffs are allocated each series on a game by game basis until all teams have completed that round and not front loaded based on the potential length of the series?

I was aware of the 10% over allowance given by the SIM. But are your players really playing at 100% when they are in this area? They don't seem to perform at a diminished level but I would really like to know for sure, mostly out of curiosity. Oh, and even though it doesn't amount to much do you continue to get an additional 10% bonus on newly assigned PA's as you progress through the playoffs? Once again, just to satisfy my curiosity.

Thanks.

Related to this...how does fatigue work for the TOC?  Seems like my guys tire a lot easier in the TOC than in the playoffs.
