Question for D1 Vets Topic

So, my Colorado team in Phelan had some luck dodging early entries and I think I have a pretty nice team coming back this year. I'm just really struggling to figure out what my best starting 5 is and how to set my depth chart because I think we will be pretty deep.

I think I've narrowed it down to 2 options.

1 )
PG Elmore - Helton - Fullwood
SG Fullwood - Helton - Shutt
SF Shutt - Rinaldi - Bouck
PF Bouck - Rinaldi - Ruff
C Ruff - Prather - Rowan

or

2)
PG Fullwood - Elmore - Helton
SG Shutt - Helton - Fullwood
SF Bouck - Rinaldi - Shutt
PF Ruff - Rinaldi - Bouck
C Prather - Rowan - Ruff

Lineup 1 gives me the three guard offense since I run the Flex, but I suffer a bit in terms of rebounding with having to play Shutt at the 3. However, his ath/spd/lp/per/bh combo could make him such a big mismatch against traditional 3's that he may make up for that. I also think that the average speed of this lineup may run the Flex better than Lineup 2.

A few things to consider:
1) Prather is a first year JUCO player with no IQ, starting him could probably make him ready for tourney time
2) Elmore has a lot of room to grow still as he's a third year soph. His ath will stay the same but his def, per, bh, and pass should all keep going up as they were all high-highs

Any ideas?

Definitely go with Lineup 1.

Depending on the matchup though, Lineup 2 may be better in certain situations. Bouck is a great athlete for a big.

I'll take rebounding if I can get it at the 3, but it's not necessarily one of my top priorities there. I've had very good high-level D1 success playing guys at SF with rebounding in the 35-45 range.

I'm liking lineup 1, particularly because I think Elmore's PG ability and the lack of distro I will give him will make him nothing but a distributor and I don't know if Fullwood is worth putting at PG since he only has 71 passing. Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it.

No problem. And by the way, starting Shutt at SF with a 45 REB rating won't be much of a problem because Bouck and Ruff are such great rebounders. And a 45 rating is at least average for a SF at high-level DI.
