OK....which guy do you pick for my LF vs. righty platoon.?

Dodson has no MLB experience.  I probably stunted his development, but I didn't have a place/need for him until now. 
i figure he's a .275-.315-.445 type of guy vs righties.  A bit better range on defense than the other guy.  League minimum

Cabrera hit MLB righties at a .310-.354-.462 clip.  I figure that's 5-10 points above what he might average over a number of years.
Not much range.  $1.5M

I'm definately going with a righty/lefty platoon in LF  Who do you choose?

I like the lefty better.

Cab's a bit better with the bat, Dodson with the glove.  Tossup from where I see it.

For a vs LHP platoon?  Cabrera is a solid vs RHP platoon, but neither of these guys is good vs LHP.  You can usually find a guy better than this vs LHP off of the FA scrap heap for league minimum salary.  It's the vs RHP platoon guys that are usually a little more expensive.

Hes looking for a vsR platoon. His post contradicts the title, so I'm guessing the 'LF' made him think "left" while he was typing...
