Moving to a Big 6 school Topic

I have the opportunity (possibly, I am Keep Looking) to move to a couple of Big six Schools in Allen. One is Washington St. (C-) and the others are West Virginia (C-) and Rutgers (D+). I am currently at Army (C-) and have a decent team coming back. My goal is to make it to a big Big 6 team. So the question is, do I try for one of these jobs or do I stay where I am and hope that with one maybe two good season I can get an even better job?

All advice welcome.  Thanks

at 242 wins, I'd stay at least 1 more season if you think you've got a potential postseason team coming back. they have win markers in the mix (200/250/300) for what schools want in a coach, whether they admit it or not.

On the other hand, you're not going to get a good (B- or higher) Big 6 program without NT appearances/wins. I doubt you get any of those now, at Keep Looking and coming off a 16-12, no postseason year. Maybe Rutgers.

There is so little turnover at the better Big 6 schools you might as well jump now.  The B level team come available very rarely and when the do the competition is pretty stiff, so chances are even if you wait a year or two and something does come open there will be a more qualified coach out there.

West Virginia or Rutgers would be a good choice if you're not interested in/qualified for Colorado.  The Big East just had its best season in 8-10 years.
