If you feel a closer is necessary, Julio should get the job. You'll waste too many of Joaquin's innings if you use him as a closer.

If you feel a closer is necessary......it probably doesn't matter much.  You'll be wasting a lot of innings for one of 'em.

I would close with Alfonso, mainly because the other guy's durability and slightly higher stamina will afford him to throw a lot of innings, which will be better suited than a closer role in which he may get 50 innings on the year.

I don't like cruz at all.  Two pitches, 82 and 45 is not good.   Add that to his mediocre VL and gb/fb, and I would make him a SuB on any team of mine.  Or I'd trade him or let him go as a FA.

Alfonso I do like, but it might be a waste using him as a closer.  He could get 100+ innings as a SuA

I don't usually use a closer, but when I do it's a guy like Alfonso who is a very good pitcher with a relatively low ideal pitch count.  Cruz is a solid but not special major leaguer who can give you 100+ innings at an ERA around 4; he's better suited for a lower-leverage, higher-inning role.
