thanks, that actually looks like a better source. BBR actually has different numbers for the same position, and it's not just the outfield. i wonder if it's done with the player removed, but that just doesn't make sense.

Anybody know a place that lists fielding percentge year by year for each league? I went to the retrosite and found where you can do it one year at a time. Is there a way to get each year's number on the same page/list?

Thanks! I was looking for year by year as a reference to decide between pitchers. Unless I understood the update wrong, the fielding percentage from the year of your pitcher is a function of all of your fielders' fielding percentage. I was thinking if two pitchers are otherwise equal, this may swing it one way or another. Or, if I had a crew of pitchers from poor fielding years I would know that I probably could not get by with C and C+ fielders and would need more A type gloves.

Did I misunderstand the update?
