Have any of you noticed or attempted to track the career performances of two similarly rated players (in each individual category ie. Ath, Spd, Reb, etc.), but that differed considerably in the recruiting rankings? For example one player was a 4 star recruit vs a 2 star player... or a 2 star vs no star (but Top 100 at position). I'm wondering if the player ranked higher as a high school recruit tends to perform better if many of the factors are the same.

Also, I'm sure this is discussed in a Developer Chat or something, but how are recruit rankings generated?

Someone on the main forum (see "Observations on this cycles crop of pulldowns for D2") said that recruit rankings are based on the player's initial ratings, and that potential does not factor into the ranking formula. That's about as much as I can help you with.
