I've noticed a persistent lag in batting eye reaching or getting close to projections when compaired to other batting categories. Is there a reason for this? Does coach patience play a role in batting eye development possibly?

I think its your hitting coach's discipline rating (and to a lesser extent that of the 3b and 1B coach at the ML level and of the Bench Coach in the minors).
