It's not fatigue or ratings. You'd be hard-pressed to find a pitcher go 1-51, no less a guy rated like that. Nobody hits under .020. Even at 80%, he should hit. You combine your numbers above and the 16-91 was 15-40 (or .375) before the bad luck. I'd rest him a bit, and wouldn't hesitate to put him back out there. What he's done his last 50 AB's has absolutely zero bearing on what he will do his next 50. He's the kind of player I would trade for if I could....
