Jerry Pappa AAA pitcher problem Topic

Hello,

I am new to Whatifsports and I am in in 3 baseball leagues. In one of my leagues, I have (in my opinion) a STUD AAA pitcher. Here are his ratings.

Control Velocity Effectiveness Stamina Role
9 6 10 A R

Here is my issue (problem), he is ALWAYS fatigued! My team has played 69 games total and he has only pitched 19 innings and is only at 90% of stamina. Below, is his yearly game stats. My question is how many innings should I EXPECT for a AAA pitcher with an A rating. I was figuring that he should be able to pitch around 75 innings without a problem with an A rating. Thanks for your help

In general, the better they are the fewer IP you get from them. I'd rather have a useful pitcher for 30 innings than a horrible pitcher for 80 innings.
True, but when someone has a A stamina rating, I expected that he could throw alot of innings.

I guess my concern was that I have another AAA RP that has a D stamina rating and has thrown more innings and his more fresh. Thats why I am confused about the rating

Again, the stamina ratings do NOT reflect how many innings a pitcher can throw.  They reflect his "per game" usage.  Think of "F" as being a 1-inning guy.  And "A" as someone who can pitch 6+ innings in a game.  The F guy may very well have thrown many more innings across the season though.

Oh ok, I understand now. So the stamina rating is more of a "innings per game" not "innings per season".

Thanks for you help, I am new at this so thats why I was confused.
