So with recruiting in Tark winding down I get this email from my AD "Coach, the WCAA has a maximum limitation of 6 players per class so we just can't sign Richard Bradford." So I double check my recruiting page and I only have 5 freshman signed and 1 junior, so I'm WTF is going on? I'm over here all ready to yell at CS and demand they fix it and put Bradford on my team (I was leading the battle and still had money left over) but then I realize I RS'd a freshman last season so the 5 freshman already signed make 6 freshman on my roster. The worst part is this guy is probably the 2nd best of the 7 guys I would've signed.

So moral of the story if you RS'd somebody he counts as part of that recruiting class, and don't be a dummy and forget like me.

I did that a few months ago and lost my best recruit by far.  They all wanted to sign in the same cycle, too, so I guess it was just pure dumb luck that he came in last...

You had a redshirt last year. He counts towards the total number of freshmen on your roster. That's likely what happened.
