And my stuff is very slow again after the down time on saturday.

Pages still loading very slowly for me.

Been extremely slow for weeks with me.

You know, the pages that have been slow to load have been the rankings pages and pages that show the top rankings on the right-hand sidebar.  Might be a safe bet that whatever problem is going on has to do with the rankings.  Maybe there's a poorly written script and it's actually calculating them every time we load them rather than just loading the pre-run data...?

It could be... but why wouldn't they just be saved in a table and displayed? Interesting theory though and I could see that being an issue.

Anyone get any updates recently?  Standings tab is still BRUTAL.

Keep sending tickets. Standings are the worst. This is like some Apple 2E ****.

Yup this has become awful again...

Standings, rankings, and schedule, all slow and have been noticeably so for weeks.  Got the stopwatch out: generally 4-6 sec. to load each of those pages, whereas other tabs like office, recruiting, and stats load almost instantly.

Doesn't matter if I'm on Windows Prof. at work (during free time, of course!) or on my desktop iMac or MacBook at home or on my iPhone, I get the same slowness in all four places. I variously run Firefox, Chrome,   and Safari and it makes no difference. The problem has to be on WIS's end.

each person who experiences should send a ticket - esp with refined info about where experienced - we all seem to be seeing the same stuff

it doesnt feel as bad for me, because I have learned NOT to open the standings - by avoiding the sluggish tabs, I can move around pretty well.........but ya have to think that once the issue is narrowed as it has been that there must be an explanation and a not too hard fix

hard to post on the cc without the standings page though - unless there's something else I don't know about.

Here's CS's latest response to me:

Yes, we're still investigating. Nothing changed in the code, but some pages are loading slower since our maintenance a few weeks ago. In theory nothing changed at that time, which is why it's difficult to track down. We'll resolve it as soon as we can though.
