Team with best record in BYOP Prog. available !! Topic

There is one opening in the Terrible Teams progressive league. We are at the end of season 4 of this progressive league and are currently posting keepers for season 5. We are going to contract to 16 teams for season 5.

This 20 team league started with owners selecting one of the worst teams in baseball history and improving them by adding 7 players from the same season as their selected team. In subsequent seasons owners draft up to 5 players to further improve their team (there is a special rule if more than 5 players are needed because of retirements and IR only). Players may not be drafted who are on another teams keepers list or have been drafted earlier by another team, even though for a different year. Prior to the start of the draft I post a "taken players" list.

Since we have  completed 4 seasons, these teams are substantially improved and can no longer be considered "terrible teams" although that will continue to be the official league name.

The team available is the 1920 Pittsburgh Pirates, who had the best record in the league with 101 wins. They will be drafting players for the 1921 season. The current owner had 2 teams in the league and wishes to reduce to one team. The current owner has posted keepers but changes can be made to the keeper list up until the draft starts which will be next Monday October 3.

I would expect a new owner to commit for at least 3 seasons.

For any interested owners I will give you temporary access to the league's private forum, with full league rules.
