Lost my last 2 games in the $70mil league 1-0, with my two best starters on the mound.  One win would have sent us to the playoffs.

4 playoff teams... 3 wins, 9 losses so far, with two teams out.  Now I wonder if I could be the first team with 4 round 1 playoff teams NOT to advance to round 2.

Got swept out of two playoffs immediately - that probably doesn't bode well for holding onto first!

4 out of the 5 playoffs that started for me yesterday were sweeps..luckily i was on the winning end of 3 of the 4..

I absolutely hate "Best-of-5" playoff series. 

Missed a 4th playoff spot by 1 game - that game can be traced back to an admin/commissioner snafu early in the season.  Could very well serve as a bar to the cage...

Three teams out in the first round, another down 0-2. Goodbye, standings lead that took weeks to build.

dippedncrack had an illegal player that got through all the roster checks.  Once it was discovered, I asked which player should replace the illegal player.  I got the answer and had admin make the switch.  But dippedncrack didn't realize that the switch had been made (it all happened very quickly).  The replacement was on the bench and some 200K player started, went 0-4 at the plate (and maybe even committed an error) in a 1-run loss. 

There are many people to blame...

dippedncrack for rostering an illegal player
me for missing the illegal player before the season started
admin for not simply plugging in the new player into the lineup slot (for the illegal player)

No - really only myself to blame from the get-go. Plus I had many opportunities during that season to make better managerial choices that could have made the difference.  I'm just frustrated that I got so close.  Who knows, maybe I'll catch lightning in a bottle with my last 2 teams and make a run.  This tourny remains and will remain the highlight of WIS for me schwarze.

LCS?  What's that?  I wish I had the luxery of going 1-7 in LCS games.

 interestingly enough markeking and I have teams going up against eachother in the LCS of the 120mil league..This above was from the 140mil (also the highest cap of the tourney last year) and I came out on top then..as of now markeking is up 2-0 in the LCS..His team name is offensive cavaliers and mine is POTF...interesting..

Another team gone in the LCS, only winning 1 game. Whatever the record is for fewest playoff bonus points scored by 6 teams, I have to be closing in on it.

I know we complain about it all the time, but seriously, how do I have 4 playoff teams, and my worst team makes the world series?  I somehow won my division with 76 wins, which is bad enough.  But then I beat 95 & 101 win teams.  It's just ridiculous.  Sorry cubbies84
