I have seen on here before that you can sometimes get a guy with just a promised start and a scholly. Correct?

Can you still use this strategy if the guy is an ineligible or will he end up not attending your school?

I am correct that the guy does not have to start the following year (his first eligible season)?

Promises are for a players 1st year at your school.

you can use this for ineligibles, but sometimes those kids become eligible before recruiting ends and then you have a promise to honor.
