How much effort canI expect to have to put in? I am an A prestige DII v. a C- prestige SIM DI. I am less than 100 miles from the guy so I was considering going after him. Just wanted to see what an approximation would be...thanks.

Too many factors to tell. I think there have been numerous topics on this if you search the forums.

You need to know how high up on this schools list this guy is for you to get a good measure of whether its possible or not, I tend to always stay away from this (especially v a C level school) as there is always a similar player if you look hard enough.

I usually wait and look at future stars before I go after him. If it says he is "tight" I don't go after him. If it says he is leaning but leaving his options wide open you'd have a good shot, in my opinion.

man is it even possible to get a guy if he is tight with the school??? I went after the dude hard and it is still saying he is tight with the other school after the latest FSS

Depends on many factors, team Prestiege, amount spent by other team, distance.

i thought distance didnt matter for SIM...all there recruits efforts are from a set distance

Sorry, I missed that. OK then, how many open Schollarships does the Sim have? And how many other players does he have considering him?

You have to remember that DI teams get 15K per scholly and DII teams get 5K per, that is a huge difference. But since it is a Sim think of it like this, if he has 4 open schollys and only 2 guys considereing him, he has probably put the equivalent of 30K into that player. As a DII team there is no way you will ever pull that player away from him. The prestiege advantage he has and effort he put in will far outweigh anything you can do.

The only way I think you could get him away is if he only has 1 open scholly  and you have 6 and put most of your cash into the battle. But I would not suggest spending anymore cash on the battle you will just be throwing it away.

for future references I had to spend about 16K but I ended up getting this guy. I still somehow managed to sign two other quality recruits with the little money I had left.
