for me it's all about what else you have in the lineup, the stadium, how your team is built etc. right now my team is very C limited, it's my biggest weakness. and it will be the focus of FA next season. But i know I want a great defensive catcher. why? because i play in the AL giving me a DH to make up for poor hitting, and because I think my pitchers need the help. playing in seattle also helps exaggerate the PC affect IMO (not that i can prove it, or can make a good argument, just think it)
