FA Changing Minds Topic

I'd like to have the FA's decision set before budgets are set and not change after.  It makes no sense to see they are willing to resign during budget setting day so that you set your budgets accordingly, only to have them change their mind after the budget setting day and file for FA.

If by budget setting day, you mean, before the start season button is pressed, i think that's a glitch.  Ignore FAs demands before that.

No this is after the button.  We've had some FA that were willing to resign after the season schedule had been generated and then when the day came to sign your FA's they decided they were filing for FA no matter what.

Thats interesting.  I'm not sure if it's intended to be that way.  My gut says no.

Yeah, I'm not sure I've seen that either.  Not AFTER the schedule was generated.

Yeah, it happens.  Don't have a world I'm in that recently did FA for an example, but I've seen it, and it should be fixed.  I wouldn't even care if they didn't give us ANY information on that during budgeting, but if it's there, it should be correct.

Whether or not an FA tells you he is leaving no matter what, willing to stay, or you have to "wow" him regularly changes from during the budget setting period to when budgets are actually set.
I would assume that this is a glitch.

No information would be better.

But now I know what he's saying.   During budgeting but before FA starts, it happens.  Players do have a change of heart after budgets are set.   No big deal to an experienced player.   Most of them say "Let's talk next season" if you try to re-sign them before rollover.  If they say that, you're gonna have trouble.

Which is what this player did, he said "Let's talk next season" before the rollover occurred which is no big deal.  However now that the rollover occurs and the next season's schedule generated we can start setting budgets, it's changed to willing to resign.  We've had a few of these players where this has happened, the owner budgets to resign the player now that it looks like he is willing, but the one day later (Sign your own FA) the player decides he's not willing anymore and goes to FA.  Not a huge deal but it does affect how an owner sets their budget
