I had a question about arbitrating a player multiple times... Have you ever had a player not sign a long-term contract after arbitrating him 2 times? Is it possible for a player to sign two back to back long-term contracts? If so, is there a player attribute that gives a higher chance of him doing so?

not sure what the exact cutoff is for each overall on the curve, but patience is the key stat for re-signing.  from what i've seen if somebody has a 70+ patience you can pretty much re-sign him to kingdom come even w a 90+ overall.

haven't seen somebody refuse a LT deal during arb3.  i have arb'd a guy 3 times and then refused to sign an extension citing the arb, so i suppose it's possible after 2 if the guy has a low patience.

A player will sign long term after you arb him twice. Yes, it is possible for a player to sign another LT deal after the first one expires. And yes patience affects if he is willing to re-sign LT or not. The higher the patience, the more likely it is he'll resign.

Will a player sign an LT after the 2nd arbitration 100% of the time?
