Thanks bottomlee-Same with your Pick of Tommy Harper 3B-I liked his pop 31 HR's and Stolen Bases and certainly had my eye on him.   So your well set for the 1st Year with Harper at 3B and yes, I can understand that you would be watching Gardner, in order to have someone to take over.  3B is a problem in our League. The 1920's is limited to Singles Hitters, while the 1970's has few Draftable 3B guys in the upcoming Drafts.

We're headed South!  Ty Cobb, the Georgia Peach is thrilled. Frank Howard, Jim Hickman, Billy Williams and Rico Carty all got together and took me out for Dinner.  They couldn't thank me enough for giving them this opportunity to hit in a HR pradise!

I live in the hinterlands of Cardinal Nation, not quite half-way to Wriggly Field.  During the season its' a real civil war between these NL fans.  So, go Cardinals!  Then again, I am a native of the AL West and have always been inclined to follow the AL more closely. I would root for the Rangers if they weren't the enemy during the regular season. 

I have a buddy here in town (4 hours away) who sold his left *&**! to pay for a ticket to this evenings' game #1 of the series.  He is from Texas and is going to freeze his behind off.  I hope for his sake the game isn't rained out.
