Over 360 miles...pulldown? Topic

Can you pulldown a guy that is over 360 miles away? I wasn't sure. I remember reading in some post about pulldown strategy that 0-360 miles was it. Is that just a recommendation since it gets really expensive from over 360 miles away?

I know it would be pretty expensive but could you still do it....

It's just a recommendation.  There have been many times where I've pulled down International players (who are obviously well over 360 miles away).

You totally can - if you check my Loyola Marymount team, I pulled down both of the Espositos.  But at the same time, it's so damn risky - the thing with pulldowns is you don't know if it's going to take 5 scouting trips or 40.  And with the long-distance guys, you could be $15K in and still not have him pulled.

You can do it - but it is generally a terrible idea outside of D1 due to the price - unless you're recruiting in an area in which no decent players are close to you (Puerto Rico, Hawaii)
