I almost never pay attention to this after all my years with WIS but noticed that my team DIII team in Crum is favored by 100 tonight! Not that it matters, just thought it was funny! Anyone seen a spread bigger than this?

Before they 'corrected" an issue with spreads there were ones as high as 140+ and I think even a couple over 200.  I know I was favored by 106 once, and I wasn't even ranked in the top 25 at the time (at DIII forever ago).

I was once favored to lose by 126. Bet you can look at my history and see which season that was in...

Point spreads aren't worth crap.  I was a good team favored by 52 and lost by 2.  It happens.

I put corrected in quotes for a reason.  They do help you win free seasons on whatifsportsbook if you bet on the games where teams are favored by 100+, because very rarely do teams ever cover those spreads (I say very rarely because there have been some games where teams have won by over 100 points). 

Didn't they take down whatifsportsbook?  

Did they?  Haven't checked it in ages.

EDIT:  Just checked, it's still up and running.  They may have eliminated the prize element though.  I'm not certain about that.

Still up and running. I typically end up in either 1st or 2nd place and get enough to buy a few bucks worth of game credits every season.

Ironically enough at a school that isn't even in the NCAA (yet) for basketball.
