What is the likelihood that at some point logic could be implemented that would allow, for example, your starting 2B (as long as he was listed first in the def rep hierarchy at LF)  to move to LF when your def specialist comes in to play 2B?

I have seen teams move IFers to the OF when making late inning def substitutions before.

Usually that happens after a PH stays in the game to play the field.
