Thanks guys for the tips, it was what I was looking for. What I have seen so far in my first progressive league is exactly what you are saying.  Solid pitching wins games. This is unlike open leagues because like booger says anyone can just pop in 3 top pitchers in an open league but finding ways to score is the name of the game.  I am finding in progressives that HR's seem to matter more probably because you are facing alot of mediocre pitching while in open leagues my style is more of higher average guys with a little speed.  My squad right now lacks full time starters but it wouldnt matter, my pitching is constantly getting lit up.
